Earlier this year we\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepajamacompany.com\/blog\/doing-good-in-pajamas\/\" target=\"_blank\">announced a partnership<\/a> with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/everymothercounts.org\/\">Every Mother Counts<\/a>,\u00a0an advocacy and mobilization campaign to increase education and support for maternal and child health.<\/p>\n<p>In her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2011\/12\/11\/living\/cnn-heroes\/?hpt=hp_bn8\" target=\"_blank\">acceptance speech at the awards<\/a> Lim spoke about the dangers women face giving birth around the world every day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today on our Earth, 981 mothers in the prime of their life will die &#8212; and tomorrow again and yesterday,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And I&#8217;m asking you to help change that.
